Shortlist raises $1 in seed investment from US, Kenyan and India investors

Shell Foundation partner Shortlist has raised $1 million in seed investment from investors from the USA, Kenya and India.

Shortlist use an innovative data-driven product to screen candidates profiles online and then screens further using online competency assessments and other tools.

Employers then receive access to candidates that are in effect interview-ready, streamlining the time-consuming hiring process.

The seed funding will be used to enhanced the company's product. As Paul Breloff, co-founder and CEO of Shortlist explains: "Both job seekers and employers deserve a better way to find each other and gauge fit. We believe the investor mix of expertise across India, East Africa and the US will add strategic value as we build on our early traction".
