Sarah Eglington joined Shell Foundation in September 2025 as its Interim Finance Manager.
Sarah is a Fellow of the ICAEW, having begun her career in external audit at Deloitte, where she specialised in private equity investment funds. She later transitioned into Transaction Services, supporting M&A deals and capital market transactions through financial due diligence and vendor assistance. Following her time at Deloitte, Sarah broadened her experience in corporate planning and reporting at Tesco, before taking on the role of Head of Finance at the retail chain Scribbler. In 2019, she joined Shell plc through a returnship programme for mothers, initially working with the Treasury Controllers team. She then moved into a permanent role within the Holdings Controllers team in early 2020.
A committed advocate for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Sarah has led and facilitated numerous team discussions to foster inclusive workplace culture.
Outside of work, Sarah is a passionate supporter of women’s football—especially the England national team and Arsenal Women—often attending matches with her football-enthusiast son. She also enjoys countryside walks with her dog and exploring London’s vibrant food scene with friends.
