This 60-minute webinar draws on a synthesis of 115 studies and new financial modelling of 15 clean energy assets to show how investments can be designed to deliver stronger results for women.

The session presents the key findings, followed by a panel discussion with investors and clean energy providers on what this means for investment design and portfolio strategy and concluding with an audience Q&A.

The webinar will explore:

  • The different ways clean energy solutions can affect women’s incomes and livelihoods
  • Evidence on the impact of bundled approaches that combine clean energy with finance, training and market access
  • Financial modelling showing how the same asset can generate strong returns or a net loss, depending on financing terms and local context
  • ARISE: five key factors that shape effective gender-responsive investment design
