Nick Jones joined Shell Foundation in October 2019. Nick currently leads Shell Foundation’s Financial Solutions work, managing Shell Foundation’s current fund portfolio as well as looking at how it deploys its catalytic capital into innovative funds, intermediaries and blended finance vehicles to support capital continuum needs, as well as leading a number of strategic funding partnerships through the use of various products to de-risk and support scaled investment into the global south.
Nick is an experienced finance professional with over 12 years specialising in impact investing with a focus on agricultural, energy and climate finance sectors. Prior to Shell Foundation he worked for another leading impact investor including 6+ years based in East Africa.
