Sarah Crier joined Shell Foundation in September 2024 as its Governance, Risk and Assurance Manager, leading the design and delivery of effective systems and procedures to ensure a safe, compliant, and well led organisation.
Prior to joining SF Sarah spent the first 10 years of her career working at the front line across a wide range of the Shell Group’s Operated Assets. She has led Operations teams Offshore in the North Sea, Engineering teams in Trading and Supply, and Maintenance communities at Pearl GTL, a flagship Integrated Gas facility in the Middle East. During this time Sarah developed a breadth of experience as an Oil & Gas industry professional, with a particular focus on how to lead large communities to deliver top quartile business performance.
Sarah has a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and is a natural integrator with a focus on leading by intent to deliver results across traditional silos. Sarah is truly excited to join Shell Foundation and contribute to the valuable work the organisation is doing to support a just energy transition.
