M-KOPA offers innovative financial and digital products that help people unlock their potential. M-KOPA was supported by Shell Foundation from inception to establish a business model and share insights into consumer and market behaviours to help the wider sector.
Project Focus
Shell Foundation supported M-KOPA Labs from 2017 to 2020, developing larger power devices and a range of low-energy appliances, and then supported M-KOPA Mobility from 2022–2024 in launching its initial R&D and pilot work into electric mobility.
