Ama Bartimeus joined Shell Foundation in July 2021 as the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager providing expert guidance and advisory across the Programme and Market Development teams.
Ama started her career monitoring the impact of micro finance on small businesses supported by the GRATIS Foundation in Ghana. She has since led the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning function of CARE International, FHI 360, HelpAge International and the Tropical Health Education Trust at sub-regional, regional and global levels, working across a range of international development sectors. She has also managed a portfolio of grants for FCDO’s Global Poverty Action Fund implemented by Crown Agents and Triple Line Consulting. Ama has an MSc in SME Economics and Management from the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières, Canada.
