Devi Murthy joined Shell Foundation in December 2023 to support our smallholder farmer portfolio in India.
With over 10 years of agribusiness experience in India, Devi is passionate about bringing innovations in technology and business models to help increase livelihoods for small farmers.
Before joining SF, Devi founded and ran her own social enterprise – Kamal Kisan – where she developed and scaled agricultural implements that helped framers save time and costs. She has also worked as a product development engineer in the commercial automotive industry and has extensive experience in mechanical product design and manufacturing. Devi holds a Masters in Entrepreneurship from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a Bachelors in Engineering from Drexel University, USA.
