Shankha Lahiri joined Shell Foundation in February 2022 and is the Business Development Director and Regional Lead based in India.
In his role, Shankha leads strategic partnerships, enterprise growth initiatives and new market expansion across South Asia. He brings 10+ years of experience in impact investing, climate innovation, and go‑to‑market partnerships, supporting and scaling SMEs focused on climate mitigation, adaptation, and inclusive finance.
Shankha has previously worked with organisations such as WWF, Villgro Innovations Foundation and Development Alternatives Group.
Shankha holds a Master’s degree in Energy Management from University of Calcutta (India) and Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) from WBUT, India.
