William (Will) Sumner joined Shell Foundation in 2019 to act as Joint CFO, covering parental leave.
From August 2020 will became Finance Manager, responsible for the day-to-day finance procedures of Shell Foundation. Will previously worked in Shell Group, where he performed a variety of finance roles since 2000, including in Downstream, Integrated Gas, Finance Operations and most recently Corporate Controllers.
Will has a degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the UK National Audit Office.
