Call for sustainable urban mobility start-ups in Kenya and Uganda

SF is supporting the African Mobility Initiative (AMI) to find start-ups and innovations addressing sustainable mobility in the informal transport sector in Kenya and Uganda.Through its Africa Transformative Mobility Accelerator (ATMA), and also supported by the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) – with whom SF entered into a  Memorandum of Understanding last month to advance the awareness and activity around sustainable transport – AMI will select eight start-ups that are working towards transformative solutions for urban mobility – which at present is mostly non-regulated and disorganised.

Successful applicants will receive coaching and mentoring from mobility development expertise, introduction to relevant stakeholders and practitioners within the sector and be able to attend a series of planned seminars.

As well as this, a grant of up to $25,000 will be provided.
