Director – Market Development
Richard's programme seeks to understand and accelerate the growth of new social-impact markets, through the creation of enabling intermediaries that support entrepreneurs, investors and governments to deploy resources effectively.
Since 2009 Richard has worked to model the growth paths of high potential inclusive markets and create the infrastructure required to support their growth at a global and local level. He has supported enterprises across Asia and Africa to build consumer demand for social-impact products and services and has written several reports examining the lessons learned from SF.
Prior to this, Richard worked for the Shell Group across a range of financial and commercial roles in the UK, Europe and Asia. He holds an Economics degree from the University of Warwick and a post-graduate diploma from the London School of Journalism.
